现实生活中的Kaleido Stage。。。

无疑就是Cirque du Soleil。自从3年前我第一次到Las Vegas，看到Bellagio 的O时，我就执著的这样认为。

那之前我已经看了Kaleido Star的动画，对梦幻大技和天使的超绝技非常向往，曾经说过："如果真有这样的舞台，这样的表演，花多少钱我也要去！" 现实生活中真有蕾拉.汉密尔顿和苗木野空吗？那鹤立鸡群，无比耀眼的卡莱多之星？我的答案是，大概没有； 但是在O的舞台上，每个人都是蕾拉，尤利，每个人都是完美的，令人震惊的表演者，声、光、背景、人物和表现力，全都超出我的想象力。原来在这个世界上，真的有这样的演出！真的会留下这样刻骨铭心的感动！！


纽约时报曾经有过这样的评论："O is forever." 真正有一个表演可以永远吗？ 未必。但是这种力与美的结合，雅与俗的交汇，这种无比感动的感觉，或许真的就是永远。 3年零5个月了，我仍然清楚记得O的许许多多的细节，哪怕没有留下任何纪录。我情不自禁的觉得，这世界上最好的跳水、吊环、体操家们，不在奥林匹克的赛场上，而在这里； 就如这世界上最会用枪的人，不会是站着不动拿到金牌的气枪选手一样。说不定，只是说不定啊，Kaleido Star的灵感是从Cirque du Soleil来的呢。从那时起我就成了Cirque du Soleil的大fan，希望着有一天可以看遍他们所有的表演。


话虽如此，搬到西海岸之后却还一直没能去造访， 反而是Corteo(wiki)在06年世界巡回演出时，在波士顿看过。 这场演出我拿到的是VIP第1排的票，360度的圆形剧场，给予观众不同的享受。同样是高质量、高享受的show， Corteo感觉比O还是差着一筹，难怪O的价钱在所有的Cirque du Soleil的表演中是最贵的，而且不止从来没有降价的票，想要好位置还得提前2-3个月来订。 这里提醒一下，想要看O的秀请直接去Bellagio的官网购买，其他的网上卖的都是2-3倍价的黄牛票^ ^a

上周末去Las Vegas的时候，觉得比起3年多前又多了好多Cirque du Soleil show，大赌场里简直人手一个orz。Alegría · Corteo · Dralion · KÀ · KOOZÅ · La Nouba · Love · Mystère · O · Quidam · Saltimbanco · Varekai · Wintuk · Zumanity， 我还很有得看，不是吗？





ps: 这次我去Vegas看的是Mama Mia!， 将要在09年1月结束的著名音乐剧，Meryl Streep刚刚拍成电影的那个。相当不错的剧本和歌曲，（更难得的是真主角是中年妇女=她自己。。。）难怪她会动将其搬上大银幕的心思。 Mandala Bay剧场里的演出本身相当一流，娱乐性强，人物印象深刻，让人好奇电影比起来会怎样。改天去找来看看吧。

Saiyuri 2008 at Yamibo (updated on Sep 8th)

I was planning to write about this after yamibo has recovered from its periodical closing-due-to-forbidden-thread hickups, but then I found the brief activity Onz moderator had done in Saimoe board got some of English yuri fans' attention already. So I shall explain this year's Saiyuri contest a little bit below. On the other hand, don't worry if you can't register at yamibo right now, just come back after the weekend and it'll most likely come back by then.



Rules of Saiyuri 2008

1. Who's in for the Saiyuri Queen 2008?

A. Ranging from who appeared/will appear in between 2007.10-2008.9 anime (TV, OVA, movie) and have yuri indication to them, yamibo members can organize them by series and build a main supporting thread for each anime, with details about the anime, characters and resources etc. Please refer to the 2006 Saiyuri for most of the details.

(Onz mod has made a reference list including most of the qualifying anime of this Saiyuri, including Aria the Origination, Blue Drop, Candy Boy, Mnemosyne, Shoujo Sect, My Otome Zwei 0.Sfir, Koihime Muso, Ikkitousen, Bleach etc. I've added the list at the end of this entry.)

B. Any previous series that has yuri/shoujoai characters but has not participated in any Saiyuri contest, for example Battle Athletes, Devilman Lady, Oniisama E etc.

C. All characters submitted will be evaluated by the mods before they are admitted for competition.

2. Who can vote?

Anyone who registered at Yamibo before Aug 4th, 2008. Don't use your multiple ID to vote more than once, as you will be punished badly if found out. For people who can not vote this time, I suggest you still register, as the limit would be Aug 4th, 2009 for the next Saiyuri contest, most likely.

3. How to vote?

The individual voting is the same as in Saiyuri 2007, that you have to both vote and reply with the character's name and belonging series in the format of the beginning of the thread. The complicated restrictions of the voters are all for the fairness of the competition, as a 50,000 ID forum can easily give enough trouble to the Saiyuri organizing committee. Competitions begin and end at 10am GMT+8 every day, 24 hours per match and will have breaks between rounds. The first match starts on Oct 20th, 2008. (needs confirmation when yamibo restarts)

4. How to follow the results?

Saiyuri board would have sticky threads in words and graphics to describe the daily result.

5. How to enjoy this competition without understanding Chinese?

Saiyuri competition has a history of inviting international yuri fans to come participate, there would be a dedicated thread in English just for English users. Estimated >50% yamibo users can read English as well. So feel free to ask questions, and most likely people will gladly help you. Clicking on random thread may bring you surprises, too, as people create plenty of fan arts and AMVs for this event.

6. Other things I should know?

This year there will be no additional votes for original fan work, but one new fan work will be demonstrated for each character in every single match. Prepare to right-click a lot :)))

After the main matches for the Saiyuri Queen title this year, there will be an other tournament with a different rule and different candidates, briefly selecting highly popular characters from manga, game etc (not anime) for considerations to compete in the main tournament next year. The details will be announced then.


7. One thing you may not want to know...

is that if everything goes well, I will retire this time. I may still rant about it in shoujoai and help answer some questions, but I will no longer be the mod of Saiyuri board. Onz mod is quite reliable and she'll certainly do a good job in carrying on this tradition.

[感慨]时代变迁--写在告别动漫花园之时

动漫花园对魔帖众有着特别的历史意义。然而在创建6周年之际，却因某些组织发布D3ath Not3等违禁动画而遭取缔，可说是相当的冤。我回去看看旧帖的时候，发现自己第2次注册的ID也给删了，花园上次浩劫之后可说一直没有完全恢复过来。唏嘘之时，正巧前两天在写一个百合界的牢骚帖，索性拿来作为纪念好了。



我眼中的中文百合界，正处于新老交替的状态。

如果把暗帽起到魔炮StrikerS划为一个时段（如果细分还可以划出好几个亚时段），2003-2008这5年里，最初的百合风潮影响的一代人，都由自己的20年代初走向社会，各自选择了不同的道路。事实上以下分类对一般的ACG fans一样适用。 如果粗分的话可以分为2类： 已经基本脱离ACG及相关衍生物，而以各人生活为主，将美好回忆留存成为过去的一类人，称之为毕业生，3D人，或现实主义者。 仍然和ACG有着这样或那样的瓜葛，小到定期看动漫，大到将自己的生命投入到无尽的ACG事业上的人，不妨称之为终生主义者，又可以细分为以下几种。

A. 同人作者。 热衷于同人创作，享有一定名声和影响力，比如Faith，MizukiF，Sakuya，Kanata，冰糖葫芦等等不胜枚举。容易注意到的是台湾人占多数，这应该主要是台湾动漫发展体系和市场运作的相对成熟决定的。

B. 组织者。 有雄心，有组织才能，往往有不错的日语基础，而活跃在传媒、声优迷、漫展和其他大型活动中，带领潮流的中流砥柱，代表如御神、老师、喔喔。

C. 传播者。 字幕组、AMV达人、提供资源者、翻译等等都属这一类型，例子太多了就不举了。

D. 专家/布教者。对特定的事物特别感兴趣，精通此道并乐于布教，也可说是特定的超级迷。比如说瓦是圣母小说前10卷的专家，O版是Aria的专家，Niko是ゆかなな的专家。

E. 消费者/收藏者。爱购买和收藏，爱放闪光弹，从经济上支持促进动漫业发展的广大动漫迷。

尽管只有少数人成为职业届动漫人士，但是在网络发达的如今，业余fans对新一代动漫迷的影响并不亚于传统途径。 依靠BLOG和论坛交流，P2P和网络硬盘分享，动漫的传播达到了真正的飞速发展。结果之一就是百合界新一代动漫迷的低龄化，相对的形成一个10几岁末、20岁初的一个年龄断层。 这个断层阻碍了新旧价值观的交融，旧fans对部分新fans因为时髦而追寻百合，无网络礼仪，或更极端的男人去死论者不屑一顾。 近两年来百合动画总体的浮躁，和新fans对高质量百合动画及service类百合动画的鉴赏力的缺乏，使得百合界处在一个上不上，下不下的状态。

一件一直想知道的事

就是神无月动画第一话里，姬子冒着生命危险跑回去拿的给千歌音的生日礼物，到底是什么呢？看包装的形状，应该不是挂件（项链啊耳环啊发卡啊）就是笔之类的体积很小的东西。遗憾的是被大神君（的机器人）弄丢了，无法考证。

说起来我这儿3天前地震，5.6级，我离震中15英里。这是我有生以来第一次感觉到的地震，虽然持续时间很短，我着实吓了一跳。不仅感觉到地面震动，脚步不稳，小脑/脑干平衡失调还导致短暂的头晕。楼里所有的人5分钟之内就全部撤离到外面的百年大树下去了，出乎我意料的就是大家都好冷静，让我也开始安心许多，一会儿之后就跑回去把包和午饭都拿了出来（爆）<-----好孩子千万不要学！ 因为工作的地方的大楼都建得很牢固，看不出来什么，但回家后发现相架子震掉了下来。 总的来说，LA是地震多发带，但是准备工作也做得好些，比四川是强得太多了。11月份的史上最大地震演习不知会怎样，那时候还正碰上竞选。。。
